Do have no heart for the convicted man? Much more for the innocent one?
We say we are the Christian men, yet we persecute and put suffering upon many that cross our paths. We are not meant to judge others, yet we do so anyway. We say we want peace, yet we make more wars.
Why do we not fight for our supposed religion? For our Faith and God we live for?
We belittle our enemies, yet expect them to react with kindness. We run around as drunken bastards, yet do not think it’s wrong. We give our trust to our beloved God, yet still stand in contemplation.
Why do we say ourselves to be what we are not? Why do we allow others to be what they are not?
We take what is not ours, yet say it always has and will be. We say we know aches and pains, yet have disguised them for centuries to not know. We stand for the innocence and purity, yet torture its first appearance.
What have we become? What will we be?
We say we see through the purest eyes, yet they are more blind than the darkest night itself. We know no extent of what was given to us, yet we stand as if we do. We are given all the life to live, yet bring death to ourselves.
Do have no heart for the convicted man? Much more for the innocent one?
