Sensory

Simple silence speaking volumes to my eyes
Seeing every note, hearing every lame disguise
Nothing new to do, as I'm sitting here I stand
To be the only one that knows exactly what I am

Smell the taste of illness creeping through the air
None of you could feel this, because all of you were there
Everything is upside down when it's right side up you see
I may have little left but that's what's right by me

Differences and changes are what make life what it is
It's the pain that makes the joy feel good and then there's in between
Love and hate, a smile, a sigh
Stay the same and live a lie

I feel the texture of the taste that won't leave me alone
A little cry, wince from pain, and then you see a moan
There's something missing, senses fail
But I know it must be real

Differences and changes are what make life what it is
It's the pain that makes the joy feel good and then there's in between
Love and hate, a smile, a sigh
Stay the same and live a lie

Simple silence speaking volumes to my eyes
Seeing every note, hearing every lame disguise
Nothing new to do, as I'm sitting here I stand
To be the only one that knows exactly what I am
