Back and forth

by Casey   Apr 10, 2005

Knees tucked under my chin
Hands grasping my ankles
back and forth
back and forth

glancing at the bookshelf
looking at that book
back and forth
back and forth

Its pink- the book is
I'm thinking of page eighty two
back and forth
back and forth

Next to the little mermaid's portrait
thats my blade
back and forth
back and forth

Patsy Cline drones on in my ear
"Crazy for cryin',"
back and forth
back and forth

"Crazy for cryin'."
It's so close
back and forth
back and forth

I don't want to go back
back to that doctor lady
back and forth
back and forth

It smells funny there
and she confuses me
back and forth
back and forth

She said it was OK to do
Now she says it's bad
back and forth
back and forth

The song is over
the world is silent
back and forth
back and forth

Time slows down
thick air grows thinner
back and forth
back.

*sorry for the length and the repetitiveness*
