Hey, God
It's me again
With another complaint
Another request to send

Hey, God
What's wrong with you?
Why would you do this to me?
How do you expect me to get through?

Hey, God
I didn't get what I asked for
Now I'm here to whine
Is that a no for sure?

Hey, God
I've screwed up my life
Can't you save me this time too?
Don't let me live in strife!

Hey, God
My friends are in need
Can't you show them the light?
Give them what they need?

Hey, God
I just realized all I do is complain
Did I ever think to thank you
For taking away the eternal pain?
Thank you for sending
Your one and only Son
For taking away my sin
For making me the chosen one
Thank you God
For all that you have given
I cannot express in words how it feels
To know I am forgiven.

**This is actually kind of sucky, but it's true. I complain too much.
Thanks, God!**

    The message in this poem is excellent. Always remember that "all things work together for good, to them that love the Lord; to them that are called according to His purpose." It's good to have another teen putting God in their poetry.
