These Scars Are Mine

I feel the rain,
Coming down on my parade,
I feel the pain,
I've felt before,
It's back with me,
Torn into pieces,
Pierced with your pins,
How could you?,
Why sink so low?,
I opened the door,
To everything you do,
Then you made "that" promise,
Too good to be true,
This has happened before,
The third time in months,
I've fallen,
Only to be ripped apart,
For the same reason the others gave me,
My second attempt at writing this poem,
Just to let it out,
To show what I hate to be,
Without a doubt,
I know the truth,
Do I say the words?,
The words,
That wont see the light of day,
Out that night with my mate,
Talking over our lives,
On the top floor,
Of the building,
Shook me to the core,
You took the best of me away,
A piece of me,
Gone,
Everyone I knew saying bad things about you,
How you wouldn't stay true,
How was I to know?,
My head said no,
But my heart said yes,
I have failed again,
Lost everything,
Out here,
In the rain,
Again,
I need to fight the pain,
No blood this time,
With words,
With this rhyme,
All I feel is this hurt,
The one you said,
Wouldn't come true,
I'm back to where I started,
A nobody,
Tossed around once,
Thrown down always,
Whenever I reach a point of happiness,
I am let down,
Always like this,
If I'm so great,
Why is it?,
That I'm always second rate,
Compared to every mate,
Hurt and confused,
I know this wont help,
I’m at the start,
When will I ever,
Be able to give my heart,
To anyone again?,
I found it hard,
Giving it to you,
Letting go,
What can I do?,
No confidence,
You destroyed me,
Dragged me along,
On your little ride,
Letting me think of you,
I wonder if you knew?,
Just left me to sing my song,
Didn't give me a chance,
To let me be,
