Lost count

by Ria   Apr 10, 2005

For all my memories…
And tales of misty waterfalls
For all my agonies
Through eyes of waters singing songs

Buy me again
A mermaid’s soul
A siren’s note of dread
And on the rocks my destiny awaits

I have lost count
And all my whispers are just sounds of the sea
For all my fairy tales
I carry a burden for mislead

I have lost count
My sailor, open sails with grief
A breeze of mystery and marine mischief
And on the waves, my destiny’s asleep

Open your wings to the endless blue
Where sky and sea have fallen in love
Union of light and darkness charms
The wounded souls of caravans

Deserts where death silently lurks
Caves where hell spreads fiery sons
Eyes of red, snake’s appetite
Wounded I am, your majesty

Down in the hallway
Jesters dance
Spreading in agony tears of the past

Buy me again, a mermaid’s soul
A siren’s note of lust
A harp, sun’s daughter of the call
The morning’s past, the sunset dawns
Pay me with gold

Come drink from my fate’s swamp
Carry your footsteps on the blue
And no traces back
So carry on

I have lost count
And every noise I make,
The waves drown

And on the rocks…

The bitter kiss of loneliness
The taste of salty ecstasy
…My home…

Goodness, from the beginning onward, your writing took me to another world. The blue water and ocean breeze makes me feel like im in a completely differnt place, away from home. Enchanting...
