Long ago when I first met you,
You said I was your all,
You made me fly so high,
I thought I'd never fall,

But that’s all in the past now,
My wings no longer spread,
I think about you every night,
When I'm weeping in my bed,

Your touch was all I thought of,
Your lips my only sight,
