this is a well written poem, though there are a few grammatical errors....the message, though, is truly powerful. Wonderful job. 4/5.

I thought that was very somber like you said but it was also somehow beautiful. The whole poem is so meaningfull. I love it, keep on writing poems like this.

Hero's never die they live forever in your heart.... I think this poem was exceptional sad but amazingly beautiful and moving and i'm sorry for your loss and everyone else who has experienced one,
Little suggestion though
*Your children they loved you
And miss you a lot
Pictures they’ve drawn
And memories they keep*

I think you could say
Of the memories thy've never forgot..
Or something along those lines coz it's the only verse which didn't follow your rythme scheme and i think it would improve the flow.

The last stanza, and the stanza four from the end don't fit the rhyme scheme you follow throughout the piece. Perhaps if you fixed that...

But otherwise I think this is a very good poem.

One very minor thing...."And respects they were paid." For some reason "And all respects, paid." Seems to fit more, but that's most likely just me. Other than that, I loved it....very expressive.

Really heart felt, and sad, it could have been written better i think though, the flow was good, and overall it was a good poem. Really sad.

I've already read this one, (if you didn't know I'm Likuid Pain) so I'll stick to my previous comment. This is really good. :)
