I'm sorry for the heartache I've caused you
on this really not so fair earth
but i want you to know how much you mean
and how much you're really worth

if you weren't in my life always
i don't know where I'd be
an unwanted soul among the others
a somebody who cannot see

you lift me up to touch the sky and
you heal my wounds when they are sore,
you always put me first in life
and you're there to give me more

you're always there to show you're proud
and how much you really do care
but the things I've done to you these past years
haven't been that much fair.
