I once fell
Backwards
Into your loving arms.
Our love you said
Could never be ignored.

It's a no man's land
Now. between the white walls.
You packed your bags
And leapt for the door.

I once fell
Backwards
Into your open arms.
I tried today
And hit the concrete floor.
