Her day dream*

by Emily   Apr 10, 2005

She lived in her mind in make believe kingdom,
She filled her soul with pure wisdom,
All her adventures had been done before,
She always sat behind her door,
In her day dream in a lesson at school,
Her knight in shining armor looked so cool,
She fell off her chair and the whole class laughed,
Then she got up and to herself she clapped,
A day dream of hope was flattened by life,
She couldn't handle her biggest strife,
Left on her own without her mind,
She found time to hard to find,
Day dreams were forgotten because of her shame,
Nobody else thought she was the same,
A couple of weeks went by and she wasn't seen,
Everyone wondered were she'd been,
Rumors spread round faster than light,
They all thought she'd been in a fight,
But later that week a teacher told,
With his voice so loud and bold,
The girl in her day dream was not woken up,
Because of her shame she had given up,
Once thinking about her knight from above,
She knew her heart was in love,
She decided to stay with him in her dream,
On his face was a bright gleam,
Now she lives with her love under the ground,
Because only in her day dream she will be found!
