Torment

I watch the scar on my heart, waiting for it to turn to a scab
it is bleeding continuously from this deep stab

i say it will heal that all of this pain is just in my mind
some how life and pain share a sort of bind

when will it stop, and close up, when will it end
is it going to stop, will it be over soon, when will my scars mend

why does this enemy of man have to move so slow
does it do it on purpose just to watch the blood flow

is there going to be more, what is my life turning into
hoping time moves faster as it continues
