Angel in Hell

by *rêve_cassé*   Apr 11, 2005

There doth she sit
on stone pedestal,
lamenting past actions,
the Angel in Hell.

her halo is absent,
left under the bell;
her wing is in tatters,
poor Angel in Hell.

flames lick at her gown,
she hopes heaven is well.
this is the state
of the Angel in Hell.

Lucifer, Satan,
Devil to fell. . .
so many names
for the Monarch of Hell.

his hands with their claws,
tales of death her to tell,
entwine in her hair,
the Angel in Hell.

arms placed on her shoulders,
her fears to quell,
Satan himself,
made her Angel in Hell.

a lust in his chest,
worth all souls to sell,
now becomes swollen
in the King of Hell.

he places a crown on top of her head
as she fights the urge to yell.
in Hades no longer an angel is she
but now, the Queen of all Hell.
