Snow

by eternal rest   Apr 11, 2005

The cold bites at my face
As the snow crunches beneath my feet.
Looking around and this desolate wasteland
Covered in the fluff from above.
Wind whispers deadly secrets as it nips
At the barren branches of the stalking trees.
Abandoned in this endless field of white.
Snow nipping at my ankles
As I walk towards the closest nothing
I can see.

*We had a big snow storm last night, and when I walked outside today, this was how I felt*
