My Friend

My friend, I miss you dearly,
Life for me was laid out clearly,
But now my future is bleak,
Waiting for your response is taking a week,

Life was fun with you around,
But now i hear no sound,
I'm slowly fading,
Just for you,waiting,

My faith is leaving,
as is your breathing,
How I hate him and his gun,
We were meant to live, and have fun,

I'm scared of losing you,
I know you are scared too,
I now know my own fear,
I fear not seeing clear.

    I liked this poem, the only thing is in this part:

    My faith is leaving,
    as is your breathing,
    How I hate him and his gun,
    It wasn't meant to end up like this,

    the last part doesn't rhyme and it threw off the flow of your poem. Other than that it was an excellent write.
