Cemetery Children

by Jade   Apr 11, 2005

Open the gates to deathbed central
Look around at all the small graves
Children, just children when they died
But on all hallows eve they arise
They live for one night a year
Playing, laughing...screaming
Screaming for realization of death
Oh so young, innocent
Death shouldn't have taken them
Grim take me, let these children live, there lives had only just begun
They didn't get to finish their business
But no you can't, you won't
At Halloween look into the cemetery, look deep and listen
Maybe you will catch a glimpse of the cemetery children
Say a prayer for them, maybe then they can go to the next life
