To My Little Sister

by Emma Carnage   Apr 11, 2005

*my older sister Mary wrote this poem when she was going to move to San Diego. she wanted me to put it on here for her*

My little sister
Who's grown taller than me
Remember when you reached my chin
When you rode on my back
And you wore "doggy-tails" like crazy

My little sister
Who's taken all my CD's
Remember when you blasted Spice Girls
When you were too tan
And you were into the hippy trend

My little sister
We've shared shoes
We've shared music
We've shared crushes
We've shared secrets
And had our fair share of fights
My little sister
We've grown up together

It's just you and me kid
No one can touch what we have
There just isn't anything else like it
And even though I'm leaving
(I'm sorry)
We'll always have our memories
We'll always have each other

You're my little sister
My best friend
