Never Over You (About Ben Richards)

I thought that our friendship was over
The day you got with Hannah
Even though we argued lots
And it got me all tied up in knots
I am just glad we are speaking again
Because not talking to you was driving me insane
You say that you missed the old times
The days where I thought your heart was mine
And it made me think that maybe we could be?
But of course that will never happen I am just being silly
Cuz you got Hannah now
But I believe our friendship could be as strong as it was before somehow
I do want it to be more than just friendship
But I guess it will be too complicated having a relationship
Especially cuz the memories hurt too much
I miss watching you play basketball at lunch
And talking outside you house for hours on end
But that was a year ago, I do not think it will happen again
Whatever happend between me and you
I hope that our friendship will stay true
Because I miss the old times too
Sometimes I wish I had never started the argument about Emma
Because if that had not happened maybe we will be together
Right now I do not know how I feel about you
I say that I am over you but how can you believe that is true
After all that we went through
Even if you only want to stay friends
I still want you to know that my love for you will never end
It does not mean that I can not love you as just a friend!
As much as I hate Hannah
I wish you and her the best of luck together
And if she ever hurts you just let me know
I will find her and make sure there is a show
I will do anything for you just remember that
You are a great guy and always will be, that is a fact
Maybe in the future I will move on
But I will always be here for ya so stay strong!
