As I'm sitting here,
thinking about you,
knowing I will have to say goodbye,
my heart is torn in two.
It's not that I think,
I won't ever see your face,
hear your ever longed voice,
or visit this very treasured place.
It's just that you've been there,
making me who I am today,
adding to my personality,
in so many different ways.
You've been the one,
that God has lead me to,
when I needed to hear his voice,
and needed to hear he's true.
When It's time for me to move,
it will be you that I see,
tears rolling down my cheeks,
because I'm leaving a part of me.
An when I hug you that one last time,
as a kid living here,
I know that you wont hesitate,
to wipe away that one of my many tears.
Just know that I have a place,
especially just for you in my heart,
and that I will look to the father,
and try not to fall apart.
Our memories will make me smile,
and help me laugh time or two,
So when that goodbye comes our way,
Don't forget that I love you
