In the darkness of the shadows

In the darkness of the shadows,
Lies my soul,
Looking inside me,
There is only a hole,

Sitting here in the dark,
Damaged inside,
Curled up in the corner,
Ready to cry,

This is not how I imagined,
That life would be,
Feeling hurt and destroyed,
And nothing left in me,

I’ve been cut & bruised,
On the outside & in,
Lost friends,
& been betrayed with a sin,

I can’t take it anymore,
With all this pain,
My soul is broken,
& I have nothing left to gain,

In the darkness of the shadows,
Im found unknown,
This is where I’ll stay,
Forever alone.
