Does god really love us?

If god is our savior
and the lord is our light
then why does he let the sick suffer
it just doesn't seem right

if god really loved us
then wouldn't he know
that being mean doesn't help us
it doesn't let us grow

if god is wants to help
why does he let children starve?
why does he not feed them
while sinners stomachs grow large

if god knows whats good and bad
why do innocent suffer
and sinners
live lives of ease

if god wants to save us
wouldnt he cure the sick
and let the sinners die
while innocent heal quick

why has god left our world so imperfect
so unwhole
and now time has come
we have to pay the toll
