Fool

Lying in bed night after night,
Crying herself to sleep.

What has she done?
She doesn’t know what she has become.
Hidden behind a fake smile,
No one knows who she truly is.

Popularity has finally taken its toll,
Now she's only playing a role.
Forgotten and forever lost,
She only wanted to be cool.

Through her lies and compromise,
Now she's everybody's fool.
