The Hero That Needs Saving

Look at yourself
Can’t you see
What you’ve become?
Detached and depressed
Alone and Unaware.

What happened to
The happy you?
The you I fell in love with.

Every day
A new scar.
Every night
More misery.

Why can’t I help you?
Why am I so helpless?
Standing aside,
As I watch you die
From the inside.

I hate to see my hero
Drowning in the pain
He took from me.

Please,
Tell me what to do
Tell me how I can
Save you
I’d gladly give anything
To help you out of the
Despair you’ve fallen into.

I look into your eyes
The spheres that were once
Sparkling with laughter
And happiness
Are now bleeding tears
Of pain.

Why can’t I hold you?
And tell you that everything
Will be ok?
Why can’t you tell me
How I can help you?
Why can’t I save
The hero that needs saving.
