From the depth within your mind
Can you imagine a goddess of despair
With strings of black tears stained on her face
And blood drops in her hair?

Can you picture a lonely girl
Only walking in the shadows of a life
Determined just to set things right
And escape the magnetic grasp between her and the knife?

Can you picture a heartache
That can consume her whole?
That’s large enough to control her life
Large enough to take away her soul?

Can you imagine pure sweet darkness
Seen like never before
Darkness that is so much like a black hole
It robs her of her core?

Have you ever cried for hours
To the point where your tears turn black?
Have you ever wilted like a rose
Because of the heart you may lack?

Well excuse me as I write this
Because I imagine it being so true
I let my imagination run wild
