You gave away my sadness and locked it in a box,
made sure it wasn't free, secured it tight with locks,
You tore away the fears and pushed them right away,
smothered me in cuddles so that they wouldn't stay,

You gave me lots of hope and a life to live,
taught me that i have so much more to give,
Gave me lots of love, showed me that you care,
told me to remember for me you will be there,

Gave me alot of courage to do things that i enjoy,
told me not to let bullies use me, cos i am not a toy,
You are very important, you fill my life with the best,
I will always love you, alot more than all the rest,

You have a special place, It's deep within my heart,
we are closer than close, even though we're far apart,
two hearts joined into one, we're together at the hip,
I will never leave you cos I'd be like a sinking ship.
