A place for the unknown

by Elynnka   Apr 14, 2005

Places painted with pain,
Where all is dark and all the same,
Are a shelter to those
Of which no one knows...

In a land so far away,
Where all is sad and all is gray,
Live the ones who were left alone,
The ones abandoned, with no home...

Wondering in a realm so hollow,
Where all is quiet and and buried in sorrow,
The ones you pass by and pretend not to see
Found this place where they’ll always be...

Do you know who they are? Do you even care?
They’re the ones for whom you were never there,
The unknown...for you don’t know their name,
You play with their lives as if it were a game...
