An Act

by Karry   Apr 14, 2005

From a far view
She seems to get everything
She's academically smart
She's funny,dances and sings
She's pretty and flawless
And everyone treats her with respect
She's nice and thoughtful
But its just a pose ,She tries to pull
Each and everyday
Every word she tries to say is all just an act
And this is a fact
this is her reality
Herself,she just cant be
Pretending and lying everyday
Wishing she was dieing
Her tears have dried up
She cant cry any longer
She cant get any stronger
She's too weak
Cant hold her head up straight
Can hardly speak
She's lonely and scared
Yet no one ,no one can care
Who she calls her very best friend
Never ever understood her
Not one little bit
Because her friend thinks her life is steady
Yet its falling apart already
Her happiness she cannot repute
Her heart is still put on mute
Every-time she needs to cry
She has to smile, and keep it inside
Her emotions she has to hide
Yes she has lied
To her friends, family, even to whom she loved
Happiness no one could provide
To not be selfish she had to hide
She didn't want to hurt
Those who tried to understand
But when they do
She always ran
She's scared, afraid ,still not OK
Inside Eternally,Her tears have to stay....
