As I listen to the rain poor,
I wonder if I’m always done wrong everyday,
I wonder if I was always fair before,
I wonder if I should continue the fight,

As I listen to the rain poor,
I wonder if my pain can wash away,
I wonder if I have the strength to pull on anymore,
I wonder if at the end of my tunnel shines with bright light,

As I listen to the rain poor,
I wonder if my life will stay so gray,
I wonder if I stand will I fall to the floor,
I wonder if I will survive another night,
As I listen to the rain poor
