Stick together

What has happened between us
all six of us used to be friends
now there is only two of us
who stuck tell this time but not the end

I don't see why we went our separate ways
but I guess growing up is just that way
some people say it is our age
that may be so but what about what we say

We can't all stick together
but at least we call each other
we get along, not to bother
but what the other friends

we can't see the world together
but that's okay
we'll just stick together
until another day

this is poem is meant for my six friends
we all used to say "we'll stick through thick and thin"
but you think happened think again
but we will stay in touch until the end

somehow... somewhere... someplace
we will all remember the laughs we had
stayed up late
and didn't go to bed

but this poem is over
and it's time to get over it
because whatever we do we'll get through this
