Everyday I wake up with a tear in my eye.
Everyday I go to school starting to cry.
Everyday I walk across the playground
Everyday they watch and not make a sound.
Everyday I enter the block
Everyday someone looks at me in shock
Everyday I sit at the back
Everyday my eye shines black.
Everyday I go to lunch
Everyday I get a punch
Everyday I hear the bell
Everyday my soul I want to sell.
Everyday I walk to my door
Everyday I drop my bag on the floor.
Everyday I tie my hair loose
Everyday I tighten the noose.
Everyday I think life’s unfair
Today I kicked the chair.
