I thought I missed you today

I thought that I missed you today,
I wanted to see you,
I wanted to feel your warm smile,
Did you want to see me too?

I knew I couldn't see you later,
And forgot when you were going,
I was so stupid,
I sat there woe-ing.

I thought I wouldn't see you,
For many days to come,
I wanted to just see you,
But all was done.

I made all the wrong moves,
It meant I wouldn't see you,
Then my friend said "look who's there!"
I quickly turned and said "Who?"

I then saw you,
Walking towards me,
With your warm smile,
Which over joys me.

I felt like a little girl
When I said "Hi"
It made me fill with sorrow,
When it came to bye.

I was then told,
You watched my every move,
This feeling inside,
I did not want to loose.

Why did you sit and watch,
As I walked by?
Is it because you want to be with me?
Or just wanted another hi?
