My Gift

by You already take me there...   Apr 15, 2005

I'm tired of living this life.
I don't want to live this way.
So I'm deciding here and now
To give myself away.

Forget everything I did,
Forget everything I said.
I'll slice my wrist until I bleed
I'll be prettier with the red.

Next I will write a note,
With the words so very true.
"Goodbye, I'm never coming back,
With Love, from me to you."

After that, what I will do,
Staying true to my form,
I will wrap myself in my very best clothes,
But not to keep myself warm.

Last but not least, my final touch
A ribbon way up high.
I will wrap my neck up in this ribbon
And hang there til I die.

And there, so lovely, I will stay,
With my ribbon and letter too.
I left you behind forever more,
My gift from me to you.
