Running

by Cheyanne   Apr 16, 2005

She runs and runs till her heart is sore
no telling when or where it will stop
flying down a hill
fights through terrain and more
all was well until nothing came

She knows she must halt
but how can she?
all to help where none
so it just kept running

running, running down
falling harsh now
try to catch her breath
nothing to grab her
to pull aside and save

hurry up before it's too late
the faster she goes
the more likely she will break
but nothing is there
no, nobody cares

running, running,
too quick, too steep
running, running
completely weak

running running
into a wall
She's is I
yet I still watch her fall
my heart is shattered
for no aid came
I ran forever
unrepairable heart severed
