On the edge

by Anni   Apr 16, 2005

The edge is beneath my naked feet’s,
In a moment darker than a starless night.
I’m blinded by the shade surrounding me,
As my soul slowly die inside.

You wont shed a tear in agony,
As I embrace the bottom of the hill.
Will I still be forgotten as I rest,
and when the time is standing still.

I must say, it's very touching, I love this poem, it expresses agony in poetic ways.
