Don't Think I Didn't See

by *aLoNe In ThIs WoRlD*   Apr 16, 2005

I see your cuts,
Don't think I didn't see your sleeve slip up.

I see your eyes,
Don't think I didn't see your tear stained face.

I see your legs,
Don't think I didn't see them trembling when you walked by.

I hear your heart.
Don't think I didn't hear it skip a beat.

I saw you walk by.
No one stop to ask what happened and why?

I looked away because I'm scared for you, but don't think I didn't hear you whisper for help.

I saw you trip and helped you back up then walked away, but don't think I didn't care.

I want to help you I do, but first you have to take my hand and realize...I'm just like you and together we can make it through.
