Army General

by Ariah Kaltesh   Apr 16, 2005

You call yourself my father, yet all you do is yell
And call me a self-centered b itch
The fact that that's YOU should be ringing the bells
Your need for control; you can't scratch the itch

Till you I didn't know what mental abuse was
But because of you I've become twisted
You're an army general ordering what you think is just
I and I feel like I've been enlisted

Mom says we need to leave and I agree
Just take a look at my arms
The scars are there for everyone to see
The self-inflicted evidence of your charms

You abdicate your responsibility
And I feel so alone
You have absolutely no sense of humility
The last thing I want is to be your clone

Just leave me by myself and let me live my life alone
I don't need you anymore
I can't be with you and your heart of stone
If you'd only just show me the door
