Every Day

by eternal rest   Apr 16, 2005

Every day there’s more
That I know I would have missed
If I had died that night.

I look around
Every chance I get
To see and smell and taste and hear
Every beauty in this world.

Even when there seems to be
So many things that are wrong in your life,
There are so many good things
That go unnoticed.

Some day you’ll understand.
That morning when you wake up
And look out the window
And be glad that your still here.
Nothing will be taken for granted.

*this poem didnt quite turn out how i would have liked it to, but i guess its not too bad*
