I'm your girl...

by Sarah-Louise   Apr 16, 2005

I see you dancing over there,
I'm very drunk,
But I don't care.

Your eyes are like two balls of fire,
The musics loud,
And getting higher.

You glance over in my direction,
I look at you,
You pass inspection.

A smile appears across your face,
I don't know you,
But my heart does race.

You walk across to where I'm stood,
I'd dance with you,
If only I could.

My feet are stuck, my body frozen,
Of all the girls,
It's me you've chosen.

You stare into my eyes so deep,
Instant connection,
My heart does leap.

We dance together all through the night,
I smell your scent,
As you hold me tight.

Before I leave you kiss my cheek,
Give me a note,
That's mine to keep.

'I'm so glad that I met you here,
Be mine forever,
I love you dear'.

That one night did change my world,
Now you're my man,
And I'm your girl.

Hey great poem just two suggestions
    *But my heart does race*
I think should be change to
*But my heart begins to race*
    And then,
*You walk across to where I'm stood*
I think instead of stood to *standing*

other then that i thought it was pretty good 4*
