Thanks a million…

For Ester

Dying, so slowly,
falling through the floor.
Promises made, but broken
as soon as I walked out that door.

The noisiest silence,
Yet no echo’s of hope,
Left me with nothing,
No reason at all to cope.

A letter is no compensation,
when there’s no address to reply,
I felt neglected forever.
But your call truly made me cry.

To you it meant nothing,
just seconds in age,
But to me it meant everything,
I lost the edge of my rage.

And now just hours later,
a revived felling enters my mind,
So thanks a million for the call,
My resentment has gone blind.
