Another Misleading FairyTale........

When I Was A Little Girl
Probably Only Seven Or Eight
I Used To Take This Story Book
And Id Read Till So Very Late

It Had These Pretty Pop Up Pictures
And There Was A Forest So Green
There Was A Beautiful Princess So Sweet
And Like Reality,a Horrible

She Walked For Days Through This Forest
Looking For Safety She Wished To Find
While Monsters Chased And Charged
But Then A Prince Came In Time

He Fought All The Monsters
And Gave His True Love An Everlasting Kiss
And before Id Close The Book Each Night
Id Think "One day Ill Be A Princess Like This"

So Id Go To Sleep Each Night
Waiting For That True Prince Of Mine
Believing Id Find My One And Only
Like A Fairytale Once Upon A Time

Well The First Part Came True
I Met My Caring Fare Knight
But My Story Teller Got It Wrong
Because Well It Just Isn't Write

I Ticked Big Question Number One
I Sure Did Get My Perfect Lasting Kiss
But The Happy Ever After Of My fairytale
went A Little Bit Like This

You See My Fairytale Prince
Went Riding Into The Sunset Too Soon
Before He'd Put Me On His White Horse
Or Saved Me From My Doom

He'd Of course Opened My Heart
And Gave Me True Love I Didn't Dream
But The Rest Got Misplaced In Another Fairytale
I Guess Once Upon A Times Aren't what They Seem

He Did Come back To Save Me
But A Little Too Late
Id Given Up On Fairy tales
And Magical Fare Fate

Id Dismissed Far Knights
And White Stallions To Ride
Id Left Behind Magical Swords
And Put The Book Aside

I Wished For My Prince
Just Like She Did In The Book
I Even Looked At Other Fairy tales
Took Them Off The Shelf And Had A Look

But even In Snow White
Her Prince Saved Her From Harm
And In Cinderella She Was Saved Too
Now This Comes As Quite An Alarm

I Was Made To Believe
Even When I was A Little Girl
That Magical Things Like Love Happens
And Prince's Exist In This World

Theres Evil Like In The Book
And People Who Poison Your Body Or Soul
Theres Even White Horses And Castles
But In Each Fairytale Theres A Whole

In My Far And forever After
Theres No Happiness Or Love
Theres No Magic Light From Heaven
Or An Angelic Angel From Above

Theres No Safety From Evil
Or Hair To Help You Get Saved
Theres No Magical Potion
To Help You Heal Or Be Brave

But The Fairytale had One Thing Quite Right
I Did Find My Dashing Caring Prince
But He Rode Into The Shadows On Sunset Without Me
And I Haven't Seen Him Since

So Why Didn't I Read When I Was Little
That fairy tales Don't Really come True
That Theres No Fairies To Grant Your Wishes
Or Magic Dust Or Mother Living In A Shoe

Why aren't There Happily Ever Afters
For One Grown Up Little Girl Like Me
Because I Believed That Just Like The Book
A Prince Would Love And Set Me Free....

I Think This Isn't One Of My Bests But I Think Its Worth A Comment Or Vote..Loll..Its True Tho..I Did Have This Book when i Was Little With These Pop Up Pictures..And I Used To Read It All The Time..I Think every Little Girl Dreamed Of A Fairytale..Hence The Name..Another Misleading Fairytale...Kiss Kiss
