Shattered

by Phoenixgoddess   Apr 17, 2005

I got pushed too hard many times,
And now I'm shattered and bruised.
I told them I was fragile,
But they said I have nothing to lose.

I'm shattered into pieces,
The pieces too far apart,
But there's nothing in the world more shattered,
Then my broken,painful heart.

I told them not to try and fix me,
I will always be more broken then glass.
I'll be swept away,
But the pain will always last.

They made my heart worse,
As people continued to try and fix me.
Shattering me more,
I become non-existing.

Tired of being broken,
I stayed down so i won't be pushed back to life.
Drowning in my own pain,
I try not to get back up in strife.

I wait impatiently,
As death takes its time getting to me,
Crying crimson tears,
Because I'm all broken and no one has seen.

Wanting to move, but too broken to do so,
I just look around as people walk over me,
Even when I cry out,
They don't hear my screams.

I finally get up in my broken pieces,
Grabbing a blade,
I sped up Death,
As I take my own life away.
