A Bull's Worth

by EpithetPoet   Apr 17, 2005

My tears are as futile
As the raging bull
Striving to keep afloat
In the icy current pass

It takes such strength
To breathe from death
Yet nothing at all to fall

Just one thing, one
A friend, a death, a man
Can irk the slightest sense
For those tears to trespass

Slide down and rest
Upon curves so construed
Eyes of beauty appalled

Nothing at all may quell it
This feeling inherited within
Not even the idea of death
Seeping from the end of a blade

Everything has reason
The tears, the blood, me
A purpose received at birth

Only one day may
The tears' fall finally cease
And with myself, my last rest
Will i too, finally fade

And on that day
My divine right received
Revealing my eternal worth

*This is a lot different from anything else that I've ever done. Let me know what you think*
