Lover or best friend

I want to be your lover
but instead I'm your best friend
but i cant tell you because it will
bring it all to an end.
i can trust you
and you can trust me
then why is it,
that we cant be?
i talk to you a lot
more than anybody can think
you take care of me everyday,
even when i drink.
i love you so much
with all my heart
but if i told you
it will keep us apart.
well with this said
I'll end this letter
and hope tomorrow
it will all be better.
