I thought he was the one
I thought he was my everything
I thought he was the one
who would make my heart sing
I thought he was the one who wouldn't make me frown
But just as easily as he got with me he threw me to the ground
I never thought he could hurt me
Especially like that
I never thought he would leave or ever turn his back
Asking myself why? everyday
Wishing all the pain could just go away
Still to this day I ask myself why?
And when I think of the past I can only cry.
