The world cruel and dark,
with people roaming around,
waiting like thieves,
hoping to steal the confidence I try to carry within me,
as soon as I step out of my house,
they come to devour me,
haunting me with their eyes,
as they lure around me,
as they contemplate their plan,
taunting me,
trying to get me to flee,
feeling like a prey with no defense,
i seem to lose myself,
they seem to always be smiling,
laughing so hard I can hardly hear anything else,
eyes full of evil,
bring an uneasy feeling to my heart,
iwant to run,
i want to hide,
i want to cover my eyes,
so there thoughts don’t rub into me,
but I freeze,
im lost in a trance,
again today they have won,
they convinced me,
that im not good enough,
they intimidated me,
they got me running scared,
sheltered at my house,
they got me to stay there.
