Dead, yet still Alive

You tell me you love me,
but how do I know that's true?
You've told me once...
you've even told me twice.

You say you love me,
then drop me like i'm nothing.
You threw my heart on the ground
and stepped on me when I was down.

I thought I knew you,
then you changed...

I thought I loved you,
then you proved it true...

I thought I hated you,
then you made me laugh...

I thought it would be impossible to live w/out u, then you proved me wrong.

When you left...
I thought I would die
and now I am dead,
yet still Alive!
