Doll On A Shelf

He looks like a glass doll put way up on a shelf
Something not to be touched
By me or any one else
He may smile but its not inviting
The look in his eyes tells you so
He may say hello
But hes not interested and it shows
Is it just me or did more than one get burned
All the ladies line up to take their turn
one by one they are all turned away
without an encouraging word
because he had nothing to say
There he sits like a doll on a shelf

This was written about a guy most of my friends had a crush on.
