Standing Here

by Michael Mantione   Apr 18, 2005

All I could ever do was feel this pain
As I stand in this crimson rain
As I watched the people pass me by
Ill I did was laugh and sigh
The heavy rain concealed my tears
My smile hid all my fears
There were no warming hug to comfort me
Not even a simple melody
Standing here all alone
And all my soul can do is ache and moan
Watching a cloud covered moon
Standing here in all this gloom
