Grieving Angel

As I gaze at the dark sky, so full of stars,
I think of you, and reveal deep scars.
As I gaze at the moon, so full and bright,
Deep sorrow takes my life, and I try to see the light.

Nobody told me how life was to be,
But each day I pray, it is you that I see.
The feeling of not having you here,
Makes me wish even more, that you were near.

Living my life without you around,
The echos of my cries, what a terrible sound.
The feeling of loss, that lies deep within me,
Reveals the heart-broken girl, I wish not to see.

Oh how I wish, you could have thought about me,
At this time in your life, when you no longer wanted to be.
As I walk through my life, without you mom,
The presence of my daughters, keep me calm.

Oh how I wish, you could be here with us,
Thinking of you. would not be a fuss.
Missing you much, with each passing day,
No one can ever take that away!

My love for you will remain forever,
Now that our time on earth is never.
I wish that you could keep a picture of me,
And remember the day you forgot about me!
