Final Goodbye

by Drake Takeyama   Apr 19, 2005

Standing out on a shining sea,
out across she waits for me.

But hidden by the full moon's glow,
a dire pain I cannot show.

Dripping out from my wrists,
blood flows out from open slits.

The smile on her face begins to fade,
now she can see the bloody blade.

The sacred knife falls from my hand,
her athame falls into the sand.

My new wounds can never heal,
her blade owns an ancient seal.

Now she has to watch me die,
I never got to say "Goodbye."

This final thought runs through my head,
"I'm sorry I thought you were dead."

Now I hear the final bell,
as I fall to the depths of Hell.
